While responding to a 911 call for an assault, the officer behind the wheel struck the girl at the corner of Stillwell Avenue and Highlawn Avenue about 6:43 p.m., police said. The cruiser then collided with an unoccupied car that was parked nearby, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
