The FDNY will honor 32 members who died from 9/11-related illnesses by adding their names to the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall, a tribute to their sacrifice.
Since the 9/11 attacks, more than 360 FDNY members have lost their lives to World Trade Center-related illnesses, underscoring the lasting toll on first responders.
The outdoor ceremony will commence at 4 p.m. at FDNY Headquarters and will be live-streamed, making it accessible to all who wish to pay tribute.
The inscription on the Memorial Wall reads: 'Dedicated to the memory of those who bravely served this department protecting life and property in the City of New York...'
