Posing as a teenage boy on Snapchat, he manipulated teenagers aged 13 to 15 into sending him lewd photos and videos during interactions that lasted from October 2022 to May 2024. As part of his sentence, he will also face 10 years of post-release supervision and must register as a sex offender.
Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez called Nguyen's actions a "sickening betrayal of trust" in a statement, emphasizing accountability for his actions in harming vulnerable young victims.
