The Leif confirmed its closure in a message from co-owner and longtime bartender Mike Gallagher, who reflected on years of memories and thanked families, musicians, staff and customers. The Leif originally opened in 1967, closed in 2012, and reopened two years later under Gallagher and Kenny Graham with a refreshed interior, updated amenities, and renewed focus on live entertainment.
