Elevator Installation at Classon Avenue Station Will Kick Off in June
Briefly

Work to make the Classon Avenue G station fully accessible, including adding elevators, will start in June and is expected to last through late 2026. However, G trains will mostly operate as usual, with some weekend service disruptions due to safety concerns.
The MTA's project involves adding three new elevators, widening and reopening staircases, improving lighting and communication systems, and making the station more ADA-compliant.
