Crown Heights street wins 'Greenest Block' award
Briefly

A leafy block of Lincoln Place in Crown Heights, between New York and Nostrand avenues, has won this year's 'Greenest Block in Brooklyn' award, reports Time Out New York.
The block's residents formed a gardening committee called P.L.A.N.T. to coordinate Lincoln Place's greenery and displays, as well as to mentor budding gardeners from other areas.
This year's theme was 'Natural Attractions,' and highlighted the importance of urban pollinators, such as bees and birds.
