The incident occurred in the confines of the 60th Precinct, within transit District 34. According to Police Department data, there have been 28 reported felony assaults in a 28-day period within the 60th Precinct.
As of Feb. 11, when the most recent data is available, there were 37 reported felony assaults in the area - down 26% compared to last year's 50 reported during the same time period.
