Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster shut down indefinitely
Briefly

The Coney Island Cyclone has been shut down indefinitely after a mid-ride malfunction left thrill-seekers stalled halfway up one of the iconic Brooklyn coaster's hills.
The train car has been stuck in place since the incident, with park officials saying the classic coaster will remain closed until a series of repairs are completed.
Luna Park was issued two violations as a result of the malfunction: one for failing to maintain the ride and the other for failing to notify the DOB of what happened.
We will reopen the Cyclone roller coaster when the repair is complete and the ride passes its DOB inspection, the park added.
