A 76-year-old woman, Pearle Davis, died after an SUV she was riding in crashed into a building at Floyd Bennett Field. The driver lost control of the 2022 Toyota RAV4, veering off the roadway and colliding with a hangar. Davis, along with the driver and another passenger, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The other two women are expected to recover.
