A 76-year-old woman, Pearle Davis, died after an SUV she was riding in crashed into a building at Floyd Bennett Field. The driver lost control of the 2022 Toyota RAV4, veering off the roadway and colliding with a hangar. Davis, along with the driver and another passenger, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The other two women are expected to recover. The crash caused significant structural damage to the building, and the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is looking into the incident.
