Kreative Kontrol, the step-dance team from Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School, is raising funds to attend the House Party National Step Competition in Charlotte. Currently, they need $15,000 and have raised over $3,000 through their GoFundMe campaign. The team consists of 31 students and has a strong track record, including three consecutive Brooklyn championship titles and a national title in 2023. They have made impressive performances early in 2025, showcasing their dedication and skill, as step-dancing fosters teamwork and cultural pride.
