"Thanks to this transformational project, Brooklynites of all ages and abilities can enjoy a beautifully renovated play space with something for everyone," said NYC Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue. "All New Yorkers deserve engaging and well-maintained public parks."
"This $10 million investment isn't just about creating a beautiful space-it's about creating a sense of belonging for every child in Brooklyn. Today, we celebrate a dream park for all children," said Felder.
The renovation included the construction of several features and play equipment for children of all abilities, reflecting the city's ongoing commitment to creating inclusive and engaging public spaces.
The revamped playground includes spray showers, slides, and a sandbox with "fossils," designed to stimulate the imagination and promote collaborative play.
