Brooklyn Music School survives funding crisis after emergency campaign

The love we have received from the community during this incredibly difficult time has been palpable and overwhelming, BMS Executive Director Brian Adamczyk said in an email.
Brooklyn Music School, a century-old Downtown Brooklyn institution, announced that generous support from 500 community members, a $250,000 grant from New York Presbyterian, and a gift from nonprofit Plus1 will allow the school to continue its programming for thousands of city kids.
