Brooklyn Heights firefighters practice climbing in windows
Briefly

The smoke eaters practiced climbing a giant aerial ladder, lugging and positioning a heavy ground ladder, and entering a building by climbing through a second-story window from a ladder - not an easy feat.
Kids on scooters and passersby enjoying the sunny day stopped to watch as firefighters from two Brooklyn Heights firehouses - Hook & Ladder Co. 118/Engine 205 at 74 Middagh St., and Engine 224 at 274 Hicks St. - got together for some ladder practice.
