Brooklyn College’s Art Gallery, opening on Nov. 7, will showcase the works of over 40 faculty artists, notably Derrick Adams and Ezra Wube, through Dec. 20.
Michelle J. Anderson, Brooklyn College President, stated, "This beautiful new space will allow Brooklyn College to showcase the work of its preeminent artists, teach students in new and vibrant ways."
The gallery, located in Boylan Hall, is designed as a hub for artists and the community, fostering collaborations across disciplines and expanding educational opportunities.
The inaugural exhibition, 'Urban Contours,' highlights how Brooklyn-rooted artists engage with space and objects, showcasing significant works from renowned artists and alumni.
