An 11-year-old Brooklyn boy was shot and injured, apparently by his older sister. The siblings, playing during an eclipse-related day off school, took a dangerous turn when the 13-year-old displayed a gun and accidentally shot her brother.
The firearm was described as very small; the 13-year-old girl was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon. The boy's parents are not expected to face charges at this time as they assist the investigation.
