The June 12 BRIC House Party and Gala will celebrate BRIC and the borough of Brooklyn - and will honor special guest D-Nice, who will take the stage for a DJ set at the end of the night.
"It is truly an honor to be a 2024 'Raised by Brooklyn' honoree," D-Nice said in a statement. "As I reflect upon my time in this remarkable borough, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride."
The event will also honor BRIC board member and producer Toni Williams and the company In The Raw - best known for producing Sugar In The Raw - for its longtime support of arts and culture organizations in the city.
"It's an honor to be recognized by this organization that remains a vital nexus of art and culture," Toni Williams said. "BRIC's commitment to artists like myself is a testament to their lasting impact."
