Bergen Beach gets its own Chabad House and Shul
Briefly

The FIRST CHABAD HOUSE AND SHUL in Bergen Beach has been inaugurated with a ceremony by Rabbi Menachem Mendel and Sterna Weisberg, fostering community ties.
Rabbi Weisberg's experience and Russian language skills enable him to effectively engage with local Russian-speaking residents, many being immigrants from the former Soviet states.
During the opening, Rabbi Shlomo Aharon Holzber affixed a mezuzah to the new shul's doorpost, symbolizing God's blessing and protection over the establishment.
Dozens of residents participated in celebrating Rosh Hashanah at the shul for the first time, marking a significant community connection facilitated by the new Chabad House.
