All Queens-bound lanes of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway will be closed between Atlantic Avenue and Sands Street from 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 to 4 a.m. on Monday, April 15.
Eight Queens-bound entrance ramps will be closed, and one Staten Island-bound lane will also be closed during overnight hours, leading to anticipated traffic congestion.
Traffic Enforcement Agents and pedestrian managers are planned for key intersections to help mitigate the impact of the closures, per DOT Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez.
