"This event is a testament to the vibrant and diverse fashion scene that thrives in our borough," said Randy Peers, president of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, through a press release. "It not only highlights the incredible talent of our local designers but also solidifies Brooklyn's standing as a global fashion hub. We are proud to support the creativity that makes Brooklyn special."
Brooklyn has always been at the forefront of fashion innovation, Davy said. "This show celebrates the borough's rich cultural history and the designers who draw inspiration from it," he added.
The evening concluded with a high-energy breakdancing performance by Eliseo "E-Motion" Mr. E, a local dancer and model known for his work in Step Up 3D and collaborations with artists such as Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj.
