62-Year-Old Woman Pushed Into NYC Subway Tracks at Brooklyn Station

The incident occurred at approximately 5:52 a.m. on the northbound platform of the L train line. The suspect approached the woman, punched her in the face, and shoved her onto the tracks, authorities reported. The victim sustained injuries to her left ankle and right elbow.
Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and transported the woman to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where she is in stable condition. The suspect fled the station on foot and remains at large.
The arrests followed an investigation into the September 12, 2024 incident at the Briarwood subway station. The individuals caused a train collision and fled the scene.
On Wednesday, September 19, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., a 17-year-old male was arrested in the 107th Precinct and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree reckless endangerment.
