A shooting occurred Monday morning in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn near Utica Avenue and Avenue J at about 8 a.m. A 41-year-old man was shot and transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 68-year-old man had his foot grazed and was transported to the hospital, where he is stable. Police said the suspect fled after the incident and that they do not know who the suspect is. The NYPD has not made any arrests and is continuing to investigate the case.
