VP candidate Tim Walz hosting Boston fundraiser, amid other New England campaigning
Briefly

Vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is making an appearance in Boston on Wednesday at a fundraiser in Back Bay's Newbury Boston hotel. Tickets start at $25,000 and suggested donations are $100,000.
Walz's Massachusetts fundraiser comes after Vice President Kamala Harris's high-profile events in the state. Harris appeared in Provincetown for her last campaign event with President Joe Biden before he dropped out of the race.
Mayor Michelle Wu, a delegate at the Democratic National Convention next week, told Radio Boston she plans to attend Walz's fundraiser. 'I'm thrilled that this is the ticket in front of us and eager and excited to get to the DNC convention and make it official-official,' she said.
Massachusetts natives also have a significant impact on campaign operations, with Milton's Alex Hornbrook serving as the DNC Committee's 2024 executive director, and Jamaica Plain's Jen O'Malley Dillon as the chair of Harris for President.
