Tree House Brewing eyeing Faneuil Hall as next brewery location

"Tree House Brewing Company, based in Charlton, had applied for a farmer-brewery license from the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission back in late March. If approved, Tree House would take over the former Cheers replica bar and the space that once housed a Mexican restaurant, Mija Cantina."

Tree House Brewing Company has applied for a farmer-brewery license to establish a brewery and distillery at Faneuil Hall. The proposed site includes a former Cheers bar and a space previously occupied by Mija Cantina. The total area would encompass 9,700 square feet for brewing and distilling, along with a 6,300 square foot outdoor beer garden. Approval from the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission could occur by late May. Tree House has rapidly expanded, with multiple locations and a new seasonal beer garden at the Prudential Center in Boston.
