Greater Boston single-family home sales in April grew 8.8% to 1,517, with the median sale price increasing 10.1% to $760,000. Condo sales in the same area rose by 6.9% to 1,187 transactions but the median sale price dipped by 1.2% to $609,950.
Comparing Boston condo sales data for the last three months of 2010 with 2009 shows an increase in the number of sales from 1,413 to 1,483. The average and median sale prices also saw an uplift in 2010.
