Boston signed Liam Hendriks to a two-year deal with a mutual option for 2026. The three-time All-Star last year was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and started the 2023 season on the injured list.
He told reporters he hopes to make his return from injury by the trade deadline, per Pete Abraham. The Boston Globe writer added the 35-year-old primarily will do his rehab in Boston.
