Before the first pitch at Fenway Park, a 30-minute ceremony honored the 2004 Red Sox team and the late Tim and Stacy Wakefield, with their children Brianna and Trevor leading the players onto the field.
Brianna threw the first pitch and both children lifted the 2004 World Series trophy, paying tribute to their father and the team. The Red Sox also mourned Tim and Stacy Wakefield's recent passing.
