The Minnesota Twins have signed Brady Feigl, a seasoned reliever, to a minor league contract. He will begin the season at Triple-A St. Paul. At 34, Feigl has spent over a decade in professional baseball, including stints in the Atlanta and Texas minor league systems, and significant time in independent leagues. His persistence led to an MLB debut with Pittsburgh last August, though he struggled in his first appearance. Strengthening his value, Feigl established a solid performance in the upper minors, maintaining a 4.05 ERA during 60 innings, along with an impressive 27.5% strikeout rate.
Feigl logged a couple years in independent ball and pitched well enough to secure a minor league deal with the Pirates last winter.
Despite a rocky MLB debut with the Pirates, Feigl demonstrated persistence and skill, achieving a solid 4.05 ERA in the upper minors.
The 6'4" southpaw was rewarded for his perseverance with an MLB call last August, after over a decade in professional baseball.
Feigl has a 3.27 ERA across 124 Triple-A frames over parts of four seasons, showcasing his capabilities in the minors.
