He's primarily a two-pitch arsenal guy: a four-seamer and a slider. His four-seam fastball averages at 100.9 MPH with real and expected batting averages of .152 and .167, respectively. It doesn't have a ton of movement compared to the average fastball, but when you're firing rockets to home plate, control and command matter more than being deceptive.
With 4.5 inches of vertical movement higher than the average slider and 3.4 inches of horizontal movement higher than the average, that's a strong foil to Miller's fastball. His slider has a 46.6 whiff percentage, so it's getting considerable swings and misses.
The short answer: yes. The long answer: yes to an insane degree.
