Royals Outright Dan Altavilla
Briefly

Dan Altavilla cleared waivers and has been assigned outright to Triple-A Omaha after being designated for assignment by Kansas City after an oblique injury.
The right-hander had a promising early career with a 3.28 ERA from 2016 to 2018 but faced struggles and injuries, including Tommy John surgery.
Despite a strong showing in the minors with a 3.00 ERA, Altavilla's lack of strikeouts and poor performance post-injury led to his release from the Royals.
After a brief stint in Kansas City with limited success, Altavilla has now transitioned back to the minors as he seeks to regain form.
