The Red Sox announced that almost 40 members of the 2004 World Series championship team, including players like David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez, will be in attendance for the home opener at Fenway Park.
A pregame tribute will be held for Tim Wakefield, a member of the 2004 team, and his late wife Stacey, along with honoring Larry Lucchino, the former Red Sox president and CEO who passed away recently.
