"After being traded to the Sox back in April, Crochet made sure they didn't regret it. Star pitchers Garrett Crochet and Aroldis Chapman were both named to the All-MLB first team Thursday night. The two lefties are the first Red Sox pitchers to earn All-MLB honors since it began in 2019. Chapman was also awarded the 2025 Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year, with Crochet finishing second in AL Cy Young voting."
"With Crochet heading the Sox starting pitchers, Chapman was trusted to close out many games, totaling 32 saves on the year. Along with these saves, Chapman ended with a 5-3 record and a 1.17 ERA in his 67 games. On his way to this All-MLB pick and his eighth career All-Star appearance, Chapman starred during the summer months. In a stretch between July 26-Sept. 7, Chapman set a franchise record with 17 straight hitless appearances in 14.2 innings pitched."
