Former Red Sox top prospect Michael Chavis signed a minor league deal with the Chicago White Sox after opting out of his Mariners contract. Chavis, traded to the Pirates in 2021, has been on the move but is aiming to play himself back into the majors.
Infield prospect Nick Yorke was promoted from Double-A Portland to Triple-A Worcester by the Red Sox. Yorke, with the organization since 2020, was surprised by the promotion and looks to continue his development.
