"The Boston Red Sox reshaped their infield Monday, acquiring third baseman Caleb Durbin from the Milwaukee Brewers as part of a six-player trade, the team announced. Boston also received infielder Andruw Monasterio, infielder/catcher Anthony Seigler, and a Competitive Balance Round B pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft, the Red Sox said in a press release. In return, Boston sent left-handed pitchers Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan, as well as infielder David Hamilton, to Milwaukee."
"At the center of the deal is Durbin, who emerged as one of the National League's top rookies in 2025. The 25-year-old finished third in NL Rookie of the Year voting after making his Major League debut on April 18. A right-handed hitter, Durbin appeared in 136 games, batting .256 with 25 doubles, 11 home runs, 60 runs scored, 53 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases. He was a fixture at third base, making 119 starts there, and led National League rookies in stolen bases while ranking near the top in runs scored."

The 28-year-old batted .270 in 68 Major League games while seeing time at shortstop, second base, and third, along with brief appearances at first base and left field. The Venezuela native continued to provide offense at Triple-A Nashville, where he posted a .346 on-base percentage in 30 games."
