The Red Sox and Dodgers are in talks on a trade that would send lefty James Paxton to Boston, reports Robert Murray of FanSided.
Los Angeles recently designated Paxton for assignment with hopes of quickly finding a trade partner for the veteran southpaw.
The Red Sox, who need some rotation stability and who employed Paxton from 2022-23, were connected to Paxton shortly after his DFA.
