The Red Sox offense had other ideas. Not only did they provide to explosives that go with that scene, they literally scored more runs off Corbin Burnes than he has ever allowed in a game.
Connor Wong's approach... intentionally knocks the ball through the big hole the defense is giving him. Even though the hit is weak, it's in some ways the most targeted attack.
Masataka Yoshida had three hits and four RBI in the game, including a pivotal hit that contributed to the team's unexpected success on the night.
