Minor Lines 8/15/24: Casas Finishes Rehab Strong
Briefly

The lone "L" in the Sox system on Thursday came in Worcester in a game that was shortened to 6.5 innings. With Kyle Teel walking to lead off the bottom of the seventh before the delay, and nine outs to go, I tend to think the Woo Sox had a comeback in the making. Therefore, there were no losses on the farm yesterday.
Casas finished his rehab with a .300/.404/.550 slash line in 11 games (12-for-40) and will join the Red Sox in Baltimore this evening, his first appearance since April 20.
The Iron Pigs added a run in the top of the 7th, which Worcester was unable to match due to the rain, and got the "Win". Whatever helps you sleep at night.
The Sea Dogs continued their scorching hot stretch to take down Binghamton (Mets) 5-3 on Thursday. RBI hits in the early innings by Nathan Hickey, Phillip Sikes, Kristian Campbell, and Allan Castro gave Portland a 4-0 lead after four innings.
