Boston manager Alex Cora revealed starting pitcher Lucas Giolito has elbow discomfort and is being shelved indefinitely.
The value of Giolito is largely tied to his ability to take the ball. He has logged no fewer than 161 innings in each of his (non-pandemic) full big league seasons, throwing a career-high 184 1/3 innings last season.
