Carlos Narvaez emerged as a critical catcher. Jhostynxon Garcia has risen from overlooked outfield depth to a legitimate option after strong minor-league production. Garcia is hitting .308 with a .372 OBP and .945 OPS, and he posted a 1.114 OPS in August. Garcia shows a heavy imbalance in plate appearances against righties (784) versus lefties (104), producing an almost eight-to-one split that could affect promotion timing and role.
Jhostynxon Garcia (or The Password, as he's becoming known in most circles), he been a delight to track this season.
