A lot of mixed emotions… excited… going to be a little different for sure but I'm ready for the next chapter… I'm going to be part of a good organization.
The position I was in this year, definitely proud to be in it and grateful... today it happened.
Jansen certainly is familiar with the Red Sox... played in 52 career games against Boston... posted a .255 batting average with nine home runs and 30 RBIs.
