Ferrara played five of his eight MLB seasons in Los Angeles, earning his place in the team’s history while also making contributions off the field as a dedicated supporter.
During his 1967 season, Ferrara was given more opportunities and hit .277 with 16 homers, showcasing his potential as a significant contributor to the team.
Ferrara returned to the Dodgers as an Alumni ambassador in 2009, affirming his lasting connection and commitment to the franchise even after his playing career ended.
