Active MLB Players Who Have Received A Qualifying Offer
Briefly

Teams have the option to issue a one-year qualifying offer of $21.05MM to any untraded player at the end of the World Series. After receiving the offer, players have five days to accept or decline. Accepting players remain with their teams, while those who decline require new teams to forfeit a draft pick. If a player signs elsewhere, the former team gains a draft pick. Players may only receive one qualifying offer in their careers under the current collective bargaining agreement.
The qualifying offer for the 2024-2025 offseason is set at $21.05 million, giving players the option to accept or reject within five days.
Players who decline the qualifying offer can sign with a new team, but that new team must forfeit at least one draft pick.
Teams that lose a qualified free agent gain a draft pick if the player signs with another team prior to the amateur draft.
Under the current collective bargaining agreement, any player given a qualifying offer in the past cannot receive another one.
