Ripple Fiber, a Southeast-based fiber optic internet provider, has announced its plans to expand into Massachusetts, starting with construction in Holden and West Boylston this spring. The company aims to launch its services by mid-2025, backed by a $140 million investment. This expansion will also include new offices in Worcester and Bristol Counties to enhance customer support. Local officials have expressed confidence in Ripple Fiber, highlighting the benefits of competitive internet service options for residents.
"Our entrance into Massachusetts represents a significant achievement in expanding our national footprint, with our upcoming build establishing our presence in the Northeast region," said Greg Wilson, Founder and CEO of Ripple Fiber.
"We have been very impressed with Ripple Fiber's professionalism and expertise. They've worked well with our town departments, bringing this plan to fruition in a very short time," added Peter Lukes, Town Manager of Holden.
