'Inconsistent'. 'Too casual.' 'Need to man up': Celtics can't afford to take this Christmas loss lightly
Briefly

"We've got to take some ownership," Jayson Tatum said. "We've got to acknowledge some things that we've done that are not so great. We've got to look in the mirror and man up. We've just got to be better."
"We fully believe in ourselves, the things that we can do when we're fully locked in. We've done it time and time again. We've had some lapses recently and we've just got to get back on track."
The Celtics now own their first losing streak of the season. It's not like the Sixers (11-17) have been dominant this season. They have regained some of their swagger, winning four of their last five behind stellar play.
The Celtics' shooting was above average at 40.8 percent from 3-point range, but their loss stemmed from poor free-throw shooting, converting only 61.5 percent, while Philadelphia was perfect.
