The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics combined for a record-low two free throw attempts. The Celtics stood out as the first team in NBA history to not take a single free throw.
Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo had the only two free throws of the game, making one. The Bucks' victory saw them committing just four fouls, setting a new league record for the fewest fouls in a game.
Previous records for fewest free throw attempts were held by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2014 and Atlanta Hawks in 2018 with one attempt each. The two attempts in this game broke the previous low of 11, set in a game in 2019.
