The Boston Bruins selected Dean Letourneau, a 6-foot-7 centerman, to boost their pipeline as they lacked potential NHL centermen.
Letourneau, ranked 23rd among North American skaters, impressed with his size, quickness, hands, shot release, and offensive instincts during the Bruins' scouting process.
Dean Letourneau took an unconventional route through the Canadian College ranks but will now play for Boston College, close to the Bruins, for his freshman season.
