Sean Brady has stepped in to fight Leon Edwards at UFC London after a shake-up in the main event. Brady views this as a high-reward situation; a win would propel him to number one contender status while the risk of losing is minimal, as he remains solidly ranked at #5. He believes that with only a few competitors in the welterweight division, preparing for fights is straightforward. Despite previously losing to Belal Muhammad, who is the current champion, Brady stays focused on his goal of facing Muhammad again in the future.
When you have only four or five guys ahead of you in the division, it's a little bit easier to get ready for a guy.
It's definitely motivation, but I know eventually we're going to fight again.
