There's been lots of strange takes flying around in the aftermath of the trade, including some suggesting that the Ullmark deal is akin to the Joe Thornton trade (lol) and more complaining about the Jacobs Family as owners, which is weird.
Gripes about Bruins ownership made sense in, say, 2002, but at this point, what is there to complain about? The team spends to the cap every year. They've been competitive for nearly two decades. There's been a ton of investment in the area around TD Garden.
