Lukas Reichel, a 2020 first-round pick, was called up by the Boston Bruins after a brief stint in Providence. The 23-year-old German-born winger brings 188 NHL games of experience but has struggled to secure a regular role at his previous stops. With Chicago and Vancouver this season, he recorded two goals and five points in 19 games. Head coach Marco Sturm instructed Reichel to be himself and leverage his skating ability and puck skills without trying to be a hero. Reichel approaches his Bruins debut focused on using his speed, taking risks, and maintaining mental toughness and energy.
