HBO's Most Exciting Horror Series Finally Has A Trailer
Briefly

The upcoming HBO series It: Welcome to Derry is set to explore a period story in 1962, spotlighting a group of children investigating mysterious occurrences in their town. With higher expectations following The Penguin's success, the series aims to blend horror and coming-of-age themes reminiscent of classic Stephen King narratives. Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as Pennywise, though the show deliberately introduces its own storylines. The series is poised to span three seasons, each set in different years, suggesting intricate, unfolding plotlines in the King universe.
Now we have a new look at Welcome to Derry, and it also invokes a classic Stephen King trope: the ragtag group of kids solving a mystery.
"No adult's ever gonna believe what we saw," one says. "I wouldn't!" So while Welcome to Derry is telling an original story, it hasn't forgotten the conventions that made its source material famous.
The first season is 1962, the second season is 1935, and the third season is 1908, Musichetti said in January.
