Briefly

UCLA battled Indiana to secure a 72-68 victory, facing a tense finish after nearly losing a seven-point lead in the final moments. Key plays by Dylan Andrews, who contributed crucial free throws and rebounds, helped stabilize the team after a troubling recent loss to Illinois. Indiana had its chances to tie or win but fell short, ultimately giving UCLA their first Big Ten victory outside the Pacific Time Zone this season.
Andrews' two free throws with 4.2 seconds left gave UCLA a 72-68 victory over Indiana that was a lot scarier than it needed to be for the Bruins.
The Hoosiers had a chance to tie the score or take the lead while inbounding the ball with nine seconds left. Mackenzie Mgbako came off a screen, found himself wide open and rose for a three-pointer.
UCLA was in excellent position to rebound from a tough loss to Illinois earlier this week after Andrews made two excellent plays.
